Increases sports gaming tax to fund education, interscholastic athletics, and sports venues in Ohio.

The bill amends Ohio law to increase the tax on sports gaming receipts from 20% to 36%. Revenue from this tax will be allocated to several funds: 54.44% to the sports gaming profits education fund for public and nonpublic education, 1.11% to the problem sports gaming fund, 40.89% to the sports venue redevelopment fund for renovating or constructing sports facilities, and 3.56% to the interscholastic athletics fund for supporting interscholastic athletics. The bill also establishes a commission to evaluate and approve projects for sports venue redevelopment funds.
