This bill amends Ohio's public records law to allow law enforcement officers to petition for removal from a Brady-Giglio list. A Brady-Giglio list is a list compiled by a prosecutor containing the names of law enforcement officers that have at least one substantiated incident of misconduct that is material to the law enforcement officer's credibility as a witness in a criminal case. The bill allows a law enforcement officer to file a petition with the court requesting that the officer be removed from the prosecutor's Brady-Giglio list.
