The bill establishes the Healthy Aging Task Force within the Department of Aging to study and recommend actions for healthy aging in Ohio. The task force will focus on five dimensions: physical, mental, and social well-being; preventing or delaying chronic disease; reducing social isolation; supporting healthy behaviors; and enabling independence. The task force will evaluate evidence, gather expert and public perspectives, and develop legislative recommendations. It will submit a report by September 30, 2027, and may continue to meet to guide implementation of its recommendations.
