Ohio HB9 repeals a requirement to construct certain interstate interchanges and instead mandates a traffic congestion study. The study, to be completed by December 31, 2026, will be led by the Director of Transportation in consultation with the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency. The study will examine the area along Interstate Route 271 between U.S. Route 42 to the north and south, U.S. Route 42 to the west, and West 130th Street to the east.
