The Ohio Homeowner Relief Act amends sections of the Ohio Revised Code to adjust property tax reductions for nonbusiness and owner-occupied property. It introduces a refundable income tax credit for renters and repeals sections 319.302, 323.152, 323.153, 323.156, 323.158, 5747.85, and 5747.98, and enacts section 5747.25. The act provides tax reductions for persons who are permanently and totally disabled, aged 65 or older, or surviving spouses of disabled veterans or public service officers killed in the line of duty.
