Ohio HB875 amends the state's Revised Code to prohibit for-profit operators of community schools. The bill requires for-profit operators of community schools to notify the governing authority of their decision to comply with the requirement to become a nonprofit organization by July 1, 2028. If a for-profit operator does not comply, the governing authority must identify an educational service center to act as the new operator of the community school by July 1, 2027.
