Ohio HB83 amends laws regarding the Director of Transportation's responsibilities for state highways in villages and cities.

Ohio HB83 amends sections 5501.31, 5521.01, and 5521.011 of the Revised Code to clarify the Director of Transportation's responsibilities for state highways located in villages and cities. The director may establish, construct, reconstruct, improve, widen, maintain, or repair any section of a state highway within a village or city, including the elimination of railway grade crossings, and erect regulatory and warning signs. The director must consider various factors when determining new highway locations.
