Ohio HB727 amends the grant formula for felony delinquent corrections facilities. The bill repeals sections 5139.36 and 5139.41 of the Revised Code and introduces new procedures for allocating funds. The Department of Youth Services will now allocate annual operational funds for county juvenile programs, institutional care and custody, community corrections facilities care and custody, and administrative expenses. The department will base funding on the county's previous year's ratio of felony delinquency proceedings.
