Ohio HB713 regulates adoption advertising and facilitation, prohibiting certain advertisements and exchanges of value.

Ohio HB713 amends the Revised Code to regulate adoption advertising and facilitation. It prohibits any person or entity, except certified agencies, from advertising to adopt children or place them in foster homes. It also prohibits offering or receiving money or anything of value in exchange for adoption placement. The bill allows biological parents and qualified adoptive parents to advertise their availability for adoption.
