Ohio HB687 requires athletic facilities to have at least one staff member trained in automated external defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation on duty. Facilities must also adopt an emergency action plan for defibrillator use, based on a model developed by the Department of Health. The bill repeals existing section 3701.851 and enacts new section 3701.852 to implement these requirements.
