Introduced Text

Ohio HB68 amends laws on conceal carry locations and nonresident firearms disability.

Ohio HB68 amends the Revised Code to modify provisions regarding the conveyance, possession, and control of deadly weapons or dangerous ordnances in courthouses and other buildings with courtrooms. It allows concealed handgun licensees to carry handguns in specified circumstances and permits nonresidents to seek relief from firearms disability based on Ohio convictions, guilty pleas, or adjudications. The bill repeals existing sections 2923.123 and 2923.14 and introduces new provisions detailing exemptions and conditions for relief from firearms disability.
