Ohio HB502 provides for the appropriation of funds from the Budget Stabilization Fund to continue the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) if federal funding for these programs lapses. The Director of Job and Family Services and the Director of Health will certify the necessary funding amounts to the Director of Budget and Management. This funding will remain in effect until federal funding resumes.
