Discontinuing the Continuum-Act I: Discontinuing property taxes. This bill amends the Ohio Revised Code to eliminate property taxes levied for a continuing period of time by 2030. It also repeals provisions allowing for the reduction of property tax rates and the issuance of anticipation notes for property taxes. The bill affects school districts, townships, and municipal corporations by removing their ability to levy certain property taxes and manage their tax rates.
