Ohio HB41 creates child care grant programs to assist employers in retrofitting or equipping child care facilities, building new facilities, or partnering with others to expand child care capacity. The Department of Children and Youth will administer these grants in consultation with the Department of Development and JobsOhio. The bill also establishes an Employer-Based Child Care Co-Design Learning Lab to train employers on expanding child care capacity and developing business plans.
