Establishes a grant program to fund the development and rehabilitation of community recreation spaces in Ohio.

The Fit, Safe, and Strong Communities Act establishes a one-time grant program administered by the Director of Children and Youth, with assistance from the Director of Natural Resources. The program provides up to 75% reimbursement to local government entities for the acquisition, development, or rehabilitation of outdoor spaces, parks, playgrounds, pools, splash pads, and recreation centers. Priority is given to applications that include a plan to create play area capacity or to develop a learning lab.
