Ohio HB290 prohibits solar radiation modification, cloud seeding, and sunlight reflection methods within the state.

Ohio HB290, known as the Atmosphere Protection Act, prohibits any person or entity from engaging in solar radiation modification, cloud seeding, or sunlight reflection methods in Ohio. This includes activities conducted through aircraft, balloons, drones, space-based platforms, or ground-based facilities. The superintendent of the state highway patrol or a county sheriff can issue cease-and-desist orders to those found conducting these activities.
