The bill creates a property tax relief screening system to evaluate the eligibility of owners of real property and manufactured or mobile homes in Ohio that receive tax reductions. County auditors will have access to this system and can notify the Department of Taxation of any errors. The Department of Taxation will notify county auditors if a property was granted tax reductions for which it was not eligible. The bill also includes an appropriation of $7,500,000 for fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to establish and implement this system.
