Introduced·1/23/25
Introduced Text

Ohio HB16 prohibits restrictions on political yard signs in certain areas.

Ohio HB16 amends the Revised Code to prohibit covenants, conditions, restrictions, rules, regulations, bylaws, or agreements from limiting the display of political yard signs. Specifically, it disallows restrictions on the time, location, materials, size, number, and placement of yard signs. It also prohibits limiting the size of political yard signs to less than twelve inches in height or eighteen inches in width. Any such restrictions are deemed against public policy and unenforceable. Exceptions apply if the yard sign violates state or federal law.
