It allows parents, guardians, or individuals diagnosed with a communication disability to register for inclusion in the database. The database will be accessible to law enforcement, emergency medical service personnel, and firefighters through countywide 9-1-1 systems and law enforcement automated data systems. The law also allows individuals or their representatives to request removal from the database.
