New York S10708 amends the general municipal law and the general business law to prohibit municipal corporations from entering into agreements that conceal data center details from the public or prevent public review. It also prohibits data centers from entering into such agreements. Exemptions apply for agreements intended solely to protect trade secrets. The act takes effect immediately.
