Extends provisions related to the regulation of the amount of Jonah crabs that may be taken for an additional two years.

This bill amends the environmental conservation law to extend the authority of the department to regulate the limit of Jonah crabs that may be taken for commercial purposes by two years, until December 31, 2028. The regulations must comply with applicable fishery management plans adopted by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission and the Federal Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
