This bill authorizes the village of Upper Brookville in Nassau County to discontinue and sell certain parklands for residential use. The sale must occur at fair market value, and the village must dedicate any difference between the sale price and the fair market value to acquiring additional parklands or improving existing park facilities. The sale cannot proceed until federal requirements for parkland alienation are met. The act takes effect immediately.
