The bill amends the public health law to expand the state rental registry identifying lead hazards. It includes all residential dwellings that are potentially eligible for rental, lease, let or hiring out, and are located within communities of concern. The registry will only include qualifying residential dwellings outside a city with a population of one million people or more. The department will utilize all available property information to develop the registry.
