Autonomous vehicles cannot be used for taxi services in cities with a population of one million or more without a New York City taxi and limousine.

The bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to prohibit the use of autonomous vehicles for taxi, livery, or transportation network company services in cities with a population of one million or more without a license from the New York City taxi and limousine commission.
