This bill amends the New York State Archives Partnership Trust Act to allow the New York State Archives Partnership Trust Board to use its purposes, powers, and authorized expenditures for the benefit of the New York State Museum and the New York State Library, in addition to the New York State Archives. The bill specifies that this change does not alter the statutory authority, governance, or operational control of the New York State Museum or the New York State Library, or the authority of the Board of Regents or the Commissioner of Education. The act takes effect immediately.
