This bill authorizes the village of New Hyde Park to file an application for exemption from real property taxes for a portion of the 2024-2025 assessment rolls and all of the 2025 general taxes. If the application is accepted, the Nassau County assessor may correct the assessment rolls and refund any taxes paid. The bill takes effect immediately.
