The bill directs the commissioner of the office of parks, recreation and historic preservation to conduct a legal review for the re-designation of Donald J. Trump State Park in Putnam and Westchester counties to a new name. If the review determines that the authority exists, the commissioner shall change the park's name. The commissioner must submit the findings of the review to the governor, the temporary president of the senate, and the speaker of the assembly within one year of the act's effective date.
