Extends the authority of the department of environmental conservation to manage whelk and conch to December 31, 2029.

This bill amends the environmental conservation law to extend the authority of the department of environmental conservation to manage whelk and conch until December 31, 2029. The regulations for managing whelk and conch must be less restrictive than current requirements and consistent with applicable fishery management plans. The act takes effect immediately.
