Expands crimes of interference with access to places of religious worship to include groups demonstrating outside.

This bill amends the penal law to expand the definition of criminal interference with access to places of religious worship. It includes groups of two or more people demonstrating or preparing to demonstrate within one hundred feet of such places. The bill also defines "place of religious worship" to include the drive, entrance, entryway, or exit and any public way or sidewalk that touches such places. The changes apply to both first and second-degree crimes of interference with health care services or access to a place of religious worship.
