This bill authorizes Tovas Dovid Community Kollel, Inc. to receive retroactive real property tax exempt status for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 assessment rolls and all 2023-2024, 2024-2025, and 2025-2026 school taxes. If the Rockland County assessor approves the application, the organization may be exempt from all taxation and corrections will be made to the relevant tax rolls. If the exemption is granted, the organization may receive a refund for any taxes paid and any remaining unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, interest, or tax liens may be canceled.
