Authorizes retail licensees to purchase alcohol with a business payment card.
This bill amends the alcoholic beverage control law to allow retail licensees to purchase alcohol using a business payment card. It defines "business payment card" as a credit or debit card issued for business use, excluding those with a manufacturer or wholesaler financial interest. Manufacturers or wholesalers accepting such cards must state the final cash invoice amount and the final business payment card invoice amount on the invoice. The retail licensee bears the transaction cost to mitigate secondary benefits. The changes take effect immediately.
