The bill amends the insurance law to impose standards for certain examination services for insurance agents. It requires organizations contracted to provide examination services to develop, administer, and score examinations in accordance with standards and best practices set by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. If the superintendent adopts a different standard, the organization must comply with that adopted standard. The bill applies to all examinations conducted on or after the effective date.
