Expands the list of mandated reporters of suspected child abuse to include employees, volunteers, or agents of corporate entities providing temporary.

This bill amends the social services law to require employees, volunteers, or agents of any corporate entity with a municipal agreement to serve as a tier II facility or other shelter for minors to report suspected child abuse. This expands the current list of mandated reporters, which includes professionals such as physicians, teachers, and social workers, to also include those working for entities providing temporary housing to children under 18. The bill takes effect immediately upon enactment.
