New York S09600 amends the racing, pari-mutuel wagering, and breeding law to mandate that off-track betting corporations pay regional harness tracks three percent of the handle generated from accepting wagers on simulcasts of out-of-state or out-of-country thoroughbred races after 7:30 P.M. Additionally, if the statewide wagering handle on such races exceeds $100 million, these corporations must pay an additional two percent of their proportionate share of the excess handle to the regional harness tracks.
