The bill amends the correction law by directing the commissioner of corrections and community supervision to establish and maintain a system for preserving data on tier one violations in correctional facilities. This data must be kept separately from an incarcerated individual's institutional record and should not prevent a correctional facility from removing a tier one violation from an individual's institutional record. The act takes effect immediately.
