This bill amends the village law and public officers law to allow the village of Briarcliff Manor to permit the positions of village treasurer, deputy village treasurer, village clerk, deputy clerk, and building inspector to be held by residents of Westchester county or an adjoining county within New York. This change applies only to the village of Briarcliff Manor and does not affect other municipalities.
