The bill amends the alcoholic beverage control law to allow the state liquor authority to permit outdoor alcohol service for certain special events occurring in June and July 2026. Cities, towns, or counties can request and receive approval for expanded outdoor alcohol service for licensees within specific areas. Requirements include approval of the event perimeter, security and physical barriers at entry points, advance notification to the board, and conspicuous signage. The authorization is available to holders of certain retail on-premises licenses or manufacturing licenses.
