Establishes an all-party consent requirement for any audio or video recording of mediation and court-annexed alternative dispute resolution.

The bill amends the civil practice law and rules to require the express consent of all parties and the mediator before any audio or video recording can be made during mediation or court-annexed alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Recordings made in violation of this requirement are inadmissible in any judicial, administrative, or arbitral proceeding. Violations may be deemed contempt of court and subject to fines or other sanctions as the court may direct.
