Allows out-of-state health care professionals to provide services at Ironman Lake Placid 2026.
This bill allows certain health care professionals licensed in other states to provide services at the Ironman Lake Placid 2026 event without needing a New York license. These professionals include physicians, physician assistants, massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, dentists, optometrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, emergency medical technicians, podiatrists, and athletic trainers. They must be in good standing in their home state and appointed by the World Triathlon Corporation. Services can be provided from four days before to one day after the event on July 19, 2026.
