Allows civil air patrol members to take leave during emergencies to assist with those emergencies.
This bill amends the labor law to allow members of the civil air patrol to take leave during emergencies to assist with those emergencies. The leave is permitted if the employee's duties are related to the declared emergency and if the employer has received written notification of the employee's status. The leave is not granted if the employer determines the absence would impose an undue hardship on the business.
