Specifically, it modifies the business corporation law, general associations law, limited liability company law, not-for-profit corporation law, partnership law, and real property law to include electronic submission of process as a valid method of service. The bill specifies that electronic service must be submitted through an electronic system operated by the department of state, and it must be accompanied by the statutory fee, if required.
