The bill directs the department of health to establish an alternative payment methodology for federally qualified health centers to preserve and improve patient access to fertility care. The payments will cover the difference between the amount paid for eligible injectable fertility drugs for Medicaid patients and the amount that would have been paid based on average wholesale acquisition cost. This act takes effect immediately.
