This bill amends the workers' compensation law to ensure that the unaccrued portion of a non-schedule award is included in the amounts payable to and for the benefit of certain persons when a claimant was entitled to death benefits at the time of death. This change applies to death arising from causes other than the injury. The act takes effect immediately.
