Compliance can be achieved by maintaining and reusing at least 45% of an existing structure, achieving a 15% reduction in embodied carbon emissions by 2032, or a 30% reduction by 2033. The Department of Environmental Conservation will create a public database and website for compliance information, educational resources, and reporting guidelines.
