This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to limit the suspension or revocation of an individual's driver's license under specific conditions. It applies when an individual takes a plea involving participation in certain treatment court programs, the court allows the withdrawal of a previously entered guilty plea and the individual pleads guilty to a lesser charge, or the department revoked or suspended the individual's driver's license upon a plea of guilty and at least six months have elapsed since such initial plea.
