This bill amends the insurance law to allow dental provider networks, certain health and hospital service corporations, and health care plans to enter into contracts with third parties for access to dental care services and discounted rates. Insurers must provide providers with a list of third parties with access to their services and discounted rates. Insurers and health care plans must notify providers and third parties of new or terminated contracts. Third parties must comply with all terms of the provider network contract.
