Establishes standards for caseloads for child protective services workers.

This bill amends the social services law to establish standards for caseloads for child protective services workers. It mandates that no more than two initial investigations per week may be assigned per full-time equivalent child protective services worker. The state is required to cover 100% of the costs associated with compliance of these caseload standards. The bill also includes provisions for reporting on the implementation of these standards and the characteristics of families served.
