This bill amends the education law and the public health law to mandate that school districts, public libraries, boards of cooperative educational services, county vocational education and extension boards, charter schools, and non-public elementary and secondary schools stock opioid antagonists and store naloxone nasal sprays with or adjacent to automated external defibrillator cabinets. The bill also requires entities that acquire or possess an automated external defibrillator to stock opioid antagonists and store them with or adjacent to the defibrillator.
