Makes all costs and expenses of the department of public service and public service commission subject to appropriation by the legislature.
This bill amends the public service law to require that all costs and expenses of the department of public service and public service commission be subject to appropriation by the legislature. This appropriation must be certified by the chair of the department and upon the audit and warrant of the comptroller. The bill also repeals certain provisions of section 18-a of the public service law.
