This bill amends the environmental conservation law to allow the Department of Environmental Conservation to enter into agreements or easements for the interconnection of renewable energy installations across reforestation areas. These agreements or easements must not interfere with the operation of the reforestation areas for their intended purposes. Any such agreements must be recorded in the office of general services and made available to the public on the official website of that office.
